Supporting 10th Exhibits in Museums Worldwide

The Foundation supports the creation of 10th Mountain related exhibits in museums around the U.S. and around the world that highlight the 10th Mountain’s training, fighting and impact on the snowsports and outdoor industries.

The Foundation provides funding to support other organizations working to preserve the 10th Mountain legacy and make its history accessible to the public.

The Museums and Collections team collaborates with the 10th Mountain Resource Group in supporting a wide variety of entities and exhibits.

Some of their recent work includes:

Colorado Snow Sports Museum,
Whitefish Ski Area Museum,
National Ski Hall of Fame Museum,
University of Denver (DU) Library,
New England Ski Museum,
National WWII Museum and the
US Army 10th Mountain Division and Fort Drum Museum

Many more local, regional and national museums have exhibits on the exploits of these mountain soldiers, both during the war and in the post-war years.

We receive many requests for additional museum support – beyond our current capacity to help.

Please help us educate the public and future generations about the Division’s history and its contributions the America’s ski and outdoor industry and environmental movement.
