With both geographic and virtual chapters, the 10th Mountain Division National Association and Descendants organizations offers multiple programs and opportunities to reconnect whether for monthly gatherings, reunions or special outings.
The 10th Mountain Division National Association exists to preserve and enhance the legacy of the Division for future generations.
Open primarily to combat veterans, the Nation Association offers a variety of support programs from the Mountaineer memorials and hero’s walk at Fort Drum to scholarships to wounded warrior support, as well as sponsoring the annual strongest warrior competition.
With geographic and virtual chapters across the country, the National Association offers multiple opportunities to reconnect with fellow 10th Mountaineers, whether for monthly gatherings, reunions or special outings.
The Foundation partners closely with the National Association and continues to help with funding the 10th Mountain KIA scholarship program.
Membership in the National Association also unlocks discounts on 10th Mountain co-branded products from the Foundation’s industry partners, including Icelantic, Weston, Deviation and Powder Point.
10th Mountain Descendants, Inc.
Formed as an auxiliary to the National Association, Descendants provides a way for non-combat members of the 10th Mountain family to connect and promote the legacy of their 10th mountain soldiers.
Like the National Association, there are local Descendant chapters distributed across the country that offer regular gatherings.
The Descendants also host signature events, such as the return to Italy trips, and the annual Ski-In Daze in Colorado.
The Foundation partners closely with the Descendants organization. As with the National Association, being a Descendants member unlocks discounts on 10th Mountain co-branded products from the Foundation’s industry partners, including Icelantic, Weston, Deviation and Powder Point.
