The 10th Mountain Living History Group offers tangible ways to connect with your inner mountaineer through their collections, reenactments or staff rides explaining the history of Camp Hale.
The “Living History” component of our public outreach provides a venue for collectors, reenactors and historians to learn about and share their passion for history and an interest in the 10th.
Offering a “museum without cases” concept, the Living History Display Group hosts events throughout the year or on request that provide the opportunity to:
- see the equipment in action
- explore the contents of a soldier’s pack
- learn what it was like to train in the Colorado Rockies in WWII.
As one of the longest established groups of its sort, they are based in Colorado but have chapters around the country.
This group shares also resources and provides temporary public exhibits that share a glimpse of what life was like in the Division.

They Served Us, Now It's Our Turn
Our Veterans put everything on the line to protect our freedom. We may never be able to repay them for their sacrifice, but we can show them just how much we appreciate everything they’ve done for us.
Thank you for helping us support 10th Mountain Soldiers and their families.
Your tax deductible contribution is helping to preserve their legacy.
