Steve formerly held the position of National Association, Senior VP (2004-2019), and as the 10th Mountain Division Descendants, Inc., President (2013-2018). He is the son of Albert M. Coffey, Jr. who served as a PFC rifleman in F Co. of the 87th Reg. Steve grew up in New England hiking and skiing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire from an early age. Professionally he brings over 30 years of management consulting experience and leadership working with federal agencies on cost estimating, business planning, organizational studies as well as program management. He holds a BS in biology from Elizabethtown College, a Masters degree in Environmental Management from Duke University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Virginia Tech.
