10^th Mountain soldiers who want to extend their mountain training and who have a passion for snow-riding can apply for 1 of 2 free annual PSIAA/AASI certification grants.

PSIAA/AASI Instructor Certification Grants available to 10^th Mountain soldiers & vets

The Foundation has partnered with the Professional Ski Instructors of America and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA/AASI) to fund two certification grants for 10^th Mountain soldiers and veterans who want to pursue becoming snowriding instructors.

These grants cover the first year membership plus training and certification testing costs.

The Foundation’s grants cover Level I, II, or III certifications and are available for the following disciplines:

Adaptive
Adaptive Snowboard
Alpine
Cross Country
Snowboard
Telemark

Those who already have their level 1 certifications can apply for children or freestyle specialist certifications.

Application deadlines are by November 30^th each year.
