10th Mountain Division Ski-In Feb. 24-28
An annual tradition hosted by the 10th Mountain Division Descendants since 1976, this event highlighting skiing, snowsports and history is set for the end of February in Colorado ski country. RSVP by Feb. 17.
Vail Legacy Days and parades honor the legacy of the 10th Mountain Division, held in Vail, Colorado. This weekend celebrating the history of the 10th Mountain Division includes a parade, history displays, presentations and more as part of the weekend experience. Everyone is invited to participate.

Thursday, Feb. 23 at Copper Mountain:
–8:30 AM-3 PM Copper Mountain ski
–3:30-5:30 PM acres at JJ’s Tavern
–6:45 PM education presentation at Lakewood High School
Friday, Feb. 24 at Ski Cooper:
–11:45 AM buffet lunch
–1 PM serpentine ski at top of Molly Mayfield led by soldiers from Fort Drum, Colorado National Guard and Special Forces
–3:30 PM memorial ceremony
–6 PM dinner at Silver Llama in Leadville
Saturday, Feb. 25 at Vail and Vail Legacy Days:
Option 1: nordic or alpine skiing at Ski Cooper OR Camp Hale snowmobile tour
Option 2: ski Vail
–11 AM ski down with ski troopers
–3 PM ski troopers race
Sunday, Feb. 26 at Vail and Vail Legacy Days:
–11 AM Black Hawk helicopter landing at top of chair 2
–4 PM military historian Flint Whitlock presentation at Colorado Snowsports Museum
–6 PM torchlight ski down and 10th Mountain parade in Vail Village.
Monday, Feb. 27 at Vail:
–10th Mountain soldiers will ski at Vail
