Dr. Chris Juergens is a museum curator and military historian. As Anschutz Curator of Military History, he was responsible for the care of the historic 10th Mountain Division collection at
History Colorado from 2020 to 2024. This stewardship culminated in a major exhibit, Winter Warriors: the 10th Mountain Division in World War II, which was the largest-ever presentation of the division's WWII genesis, training, and combat deployment. Since leaving History Colorado, he has joined the 10th Mountain Division Foundation Board of Directors to retain his connection to this important history.

Chris holds a BA in History, Comparative Literature, and Russian Area Studies and an MA in European History from Binghamton University (SUNY) and a PhD in History from Florida State University. Since 2024, he is Curator at the National WWI Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, MO.
