The 10th Mountain Division Foundation was established in 1958 to honor the soldiers, preserve their history, and carry forward the enduring legacy of the 10th Mountain Division.
What began as a memorial effort has grown into a philanthropic foundation that actively stewards the legacy through funding, advocacy, collaboration, and communication.
Today, we invest in people, programs, and partnerships that extend the Division’s legacy into the future and reflect its enduring values: service, courage, leadership, and community.
We fund outdoor education and leadership development inspired by the Division’s mountain heritage and spirit of service.
We preserve and create memorials that honor those who served and ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten.
We safeguard the Division’s story by supporting archives, museums, and historical projects that preserve and share its legacy.
We invest in soldiers, veterans, and families by supporting educational opportunities within the 10th Mountain Division community.
The Foundation has served the 10th Mountain Division community by directing resources where they matter most – honoring the past, supporting those who serve, and investing in the future of the legacy.
Since 2012, the Foundation has supported hundreds of individuals and organizations in our effort to Link the Legacy of the 10th Mountain Division. Whether it’s pursuing higher education or certifications in the outdoors or establishing memorials honoring our past, we are dedicated to supporting our community.
